Located between the districts of Viseu and Aveiro, the municipality of Vouzela is a pearl of Portuguese culture. It is in this sense that, throughout the year, the Municipality of Vouzela organizes a series of cultural and sporting events, ensuring the entertainment of its population and that of the tourists who arrive here.
Here we highlight the Festa do Castelo, which takes place in the first half of August and the Festa de São Frei Gil on the 14th of May.
The cultural agenda announced by them, when combined with the other municipalities in the region, presents itself as a reason to visit us. Therefore, we leave you with some of the events organized in the district during the course of the year:

• The Urban Art Festival takes place on the 1st and 31st of May in the city of Viseu.
• The “Summer Nights” program runs from May 1st to July 31st, at Parque Aquilino Ribeiro, in Viseu.
• The Jazz Festival that takes place between the 20th and 24th of July in Viseu, takes place in different parts of the city.
• The old popular fair, Feira de São Mateus, returns this year between August 4th and September 21st, at its usual location.
• Caramulo Motor Festival is the biggest motorized festival in Portugal. This one takes place in Caramulo between the 2nd and 4th of September.
• Ficton is one of the main events held in Tondela. You can visit this fair from the 14th to the 18th of September.
